Pros and cons
Both tools are good at different things. Here is where each one shines, and where it falls short.
AllScrum

- Sprints, backlog, story points and burndown without configuration
- Keyboard shortcuts: N to add, Ctrl K to search, hold Ctrl for quick actions
- Works on phones and offline, with changes syncing when you reconnect
- Passkeys and two-factor sign-in for every account
Cons
- No timeline, Gantt chart or long-range planning
- No time tracking or timesheets
- No custom fields or custom workflows
- No app store apps: you install it from the browser
- No importer or integrations marketplace yet
Jira
Pros
- Deep, configurable workflows for almost any process
- Detailed agile reports, including velocity
- Large marketplace of apps and integrations
- Built for scale, with enterprise admin and permission controls
Cons
- Takes time to set up and to learn, especially for non-technical teammates
- Configuration often needs an admin to keep it tidy
- Many options a small team will never use
Which one should you pick?
Choose Jira if
You run many teams on shared, customized workflows, need detailed agile reporting, or rely on Atlassian’s app marketplace.
Choose AllScrum if
You want sprints, a backlog and a burndown working today, your team includes people who find Jira heavy, or you mostly need a fast board.
Not sure? The board on the home page is a live demo. Drag a few cards, try the shortcuts and see if it feels right, no account needed.
Switching from Jira
There is no automatic importer yet, but moving a team over takes minutes:
- Create a project and rename the lanes to match your current columns or lists.
- Paste your task titles into a lane’s “Add task” field. Every line becomes a task, up to 100 at a time.
- Invite your team by email, or share the whole workspace with a team at once.
- Plan the first sprint from the backlog, or simply start moving cards.
