What is VDC ?

VDC (Vanishing Defect Classification) technology creates a powerful software engineering measurement in almost any software development process. It works by leveraging information contained in software bugs – something quite freely and often abundantly available in any software development process.

The technology in VDC converts the data and information contained in software bugs to valuable measurement on the software development process and/or the product. These VDC created measurements are then used for a variety of management and technical purposes. Common uses of VDC are for cost reduction, quality improvement, schedule management, process diagnostics, etc.

VDC solves the difficult problem in creating usable measurement that provide insight into a development process and product history.
